Generally, no! For storage solutions and attic rooms, our works are confined to the existing parameters of the property and because we do not alter the roofline of the house we are able to avoid the timely and costly process of a Development Application.

Costs can vary depending on the space you wish to utilise in your attic, along with the purpose (for example, just to throw some boxes up into the space or have a kids videogame room). Most of our rooms are costed on a transparent square metre pricing structure so there are no hidden costs. A truss roof attracts a slightly higher rate, but we will advise of this right from the start.
Typically a ladder and 10m2 of basic flooring starts from as little as $2,499 + GST. Attic Rooms are a little more bespoke and are quoted on a project-by-project basis.
